From Lincoln Park/Lakeview: Grab the Red Line going south. Exit the train at the Sox-35th station and take the north exit to 33rd St. Hoof it west over to bar. (Approx. 35 min)

From Wicker Park/Bucktown: Take the Blue Line into the Loop. Transfer to the Red Line at Jackson and take that south. Exit the train at the Sox-35th station and take the north exit to 33rd St. Hoof it west over to bar. (Approx. 40 min)

Anthrax 2015

2015 is almost in the books and that can mean only one thing – time to get your butt to Chicago for The Great Chicago Anthrax Scare & Santa Hat Run before your relatives lull to sleep during the holidays with boring stories.

Once again, no street, alley, or public park in the Windy City is safe as we celebrate how a few stray dollops of flour can shut down an entire neighborhood with food, fun, and, most importantly, beer.

Your rego guarantees you the aforementioned food, fun, and beer, as well as a hazmat suit, commemorative tag, and super-exclusive giveaway (you’re expected to provide your own santa hat, you Big Hump bastards). Who knows, we may go crazy and even have a shirt that can be purchased for an additional cost.

IMPORTANT TRAIL INFORMATION

Since it looks like Gispert is going to smile down upon us once again this year with good weather, the Hares have informed me that they will be setting not one, not two, but FOUR different trails for your Anthraxening pleasure. You must choose, but choose wisely –

“I Believe I Can Fly” EAGLE ~ 7 miles
“At Least I Tried” TURKEY ~ 5 miles
“Give Me Booze Already” WALKERS ~3.5 miles

Each trail cums with at least three different drink stops plus the usual shenanigans that you’ve cum to expect from Anthrax.

From Wicker Park/Bucktown: Grab the Blue Line going to O’Hare. Exit the train at Jefferson Park and transfer to the 92 Foster bus. Take that sucker out to Foster & Elston and the bar. (Approx. 35 min)
Driving

Hop in your hooptie and cruise to Foster and Elston. The bar has some parking, but don’t leave your hooptie there if you plan on going over to Taste of Polonia.

From da Ladies of POP: Amazing Race meets Beer Olympics. We start at Burwood Tap where you are split into teams and given clues to various locations in the area. At these locations, your team must complete a task (drinking related, duh) before your earn your tag and can move on. You may complete these in any order. After the last clue, we’ll end back at the bar where a winner will be declared and given a prize.

Fifteen years on, and the ladies of Chicago are still at it – its time once again for our annual “Power of the Pussy” celebration as everyone’s favorite group of harrierettes takes the reigns and plan a truly memorable weekend for everyone.

This year’s theme is “Mardi PauXXXp” – join as Chicago H3 does their best New Orleans on Fat Tuesday impression as the ladies turn your favorite hash into something normally reserved for Bourbon Street. Expect lots of beads, and quite possibly a set of boobs or two. Costumes, as always, are not only allowed but encouraged.

Your rego gets your plenty of cold beer before during and after trail, delicious food at the on-in (including a potluck contest), an exclusive giveaway (provided you rego early enough), and shiggy (both traditional and urban variety). If you rego for the entire weekend you’ll get access to Friday night’s “Beer Journey Pre-Lube” as well as Sunday’s “Crawfish Hangover.” Not only that, but you’ll have a collection of the coolest harriettes you’ll ever meet showing you a good time.

The first fifteen people to rego will receive an exclusive price of $35 for the Main Event and $40 for the weekend – after that the price is $45/$50 until August 9th. If you’re lazy you’ll be charged $5 more than that if you wait until the week of to rego and another additional $5 if you show up the day of and try to pay. Power of the Pussy is worth it at any price, but don’t say the ladies didn’t warn you about the price increases. Be smart, rego early.
