Hash Ball is the Chicago Hash House Harriers yearly celebration of everything that happened at the hash in the prior year. Typically held at the end of February or beginning of March, Hash Ball is when the results of GM Erections and the recipients of various yearly hash awards are revealed. Nominations for GM and other awards are held in January followed by elections in February. Hash Ball usually involves a one-night dinner and drink package and is open to all hashers, whether they’re from Chicago or from not.
