Chicago Marathon Beer Stop

Chicago Hash House Harriers – Our beer stop for the marathon racists

Sunday, October 7, 2018, 9:30 AM

Venue: 113 W. 33rd St. under the Metra viaduct.
What is this?:  We hand out small cups of beer to runners in the Chicago Marathon.
How do I get there?:  Take the CTA Red Line to Sox/35th Station, but use the 33rd St. exit. Our spot is just to the right as you exit the station.
What do I bring?: Bring a case of cheap beer and some small paper cups. Remember, if you wait until Sunday morning to buy beer you can only buy it at the big supermarkets like Jewel.
What do I do afterwards?: Our regular CH3 hash run will begin at 2 o’clock at Armour Square Park, just 2 blocks west of this location.

Chicago Hash Marathon Beer Stop

Chicago Hash House Harriers Marathon Beer Stop

Sunday, October 8, 2017, 9:30 AM until 2:00 PM

We will be celebrating all those dumb enough to run a 26.2 mile trail for a (1) Goose Island beer by supplementing with additional, high-quality, low-shelf, wholesome beer!

Please bring a 12 pack (preferrably on ice), small 4-6oz cups, or some garbage bags and help those poor bastards out at mile 23!

Our usual spot is the corner of 33rd and Lasalle but may be moved due to police/course officials/bodies. Elites should come through around 9am and most of the FRBs don’t want any beer (losers) so show up any time around 10am.

Directions: http://bfy.tw/E3Ut

Or more simply, Red Line to 35th, walk north to 33rd, walk east to Lasalle and 33rd. North East corner.

Our regular hash run will take place afterwards at 2:00 PM from a location nearby.
