This year’s event is once again ALL NEW as we have rented out the two backrooms of Wrigleyville favorite Piano Man and we have the rooms until MIDNIGHT!

Odor Eater returns to DJ and will keep us dancing under the influence all night long.

Fabulous food (isn’t all food in Chicago fabulous?) and vegetarian/vegan options will be your choice of silverware, napkins or plates. (kidding, but please do warn us of any special dietary preferences).

This years venue will be just blocks from historic and beautiful Wrigley Field and our hares plan to lay an incredibly shitty trail and show you some new Chicago scenery.

This year’s event is once again ALL NEW as we have rented out the HUGE backroom of one of our favorite hash bars, THE BEAUMONT right at Ground Zero of the Lincoln Park “beautiful people” corridor, Armitage & Halsted! This rather unassuming bar by day transforms into a huge dance club for the late night 21-27 year old crowd between midnight and their exceptional closing time of 5am! The hash will be there a tad earlier but for the true die-hards y’all can party there ALL NIGHT!! We had 114 peeps last year for 6th Anthrax and this year we have the space for waaaaay more!
Rego’s and pricing information will be available in October but to the extent we can continue to contain costs despite the cost of like EVERYTHING SKYROCKETING we expect 7th Anthrax to be priced as close as we can to last year and still be one of the BEST VALUES IN HASHING.

NOTE 11am START time so visitors can catch their trains, Megabuses, etc or get a jump on weekend traffic.

Okay so actual Hannukah ended on 12/12 but the theme gives us such great alliteration!

Never before seen bonus vintage Anthrax Pic! Here is a shot of the Hazmat Hare at Chicago O’Hare Fire Station #3 where he was escorted by the Chicago Police on Christmas Eve 2002 after explaining over the Fire Department’s radio to on-site first responders that our trial marks in Lincoln Park were only harmless flour. The cops and firefighters there were really cool about it and even let me get a picture next to one of their fire engines.

It is interesting that the Chicago Fire Department at O’Hare has yellow rather than red trucks and a flying eagle logo (you can see part of it to the far right of the cab) instead of the regular nested-lettter CFD logo. The only other civilians who have ever been this close to this equipment have been involved in aircraft mishaps! I suppose this was better…
