From da Hare: Summer is done and the CH3 is back on Sundays so time for one last blowout hash drinkstravaganza on the foof!

After tearing through 13 30-racks at Memorial Day hangover, I’ll make sure there is plenty of beer too.

Update 10/4: The final menu board will be grilled meats (bacon cheeseburgers, hot dogs, polish sausage, bratwursts, and Tuscan sun-dried tomato marinated chicken breasts), my mom’s recipe garlic pasta and green beans, pepper sweet corn, various chips, peanut butter-filled pretzel bites, mini pumpkin muffins and chocolate chip cookies. In short, the most extensive spread of food I have ever served the hash.

If you have something you like to make, feel free to bring a dish to share. Like Backdoor County and Chunder Pussy are bringing a pot of their award-winning chili, so come super hungry.

I have ten 30 racks of beer set aside for this hash and four in reserve. Hopefully we will not have to make any beer runs.

From Lincoln Park/Lakeview: Hoof it to 933 W. Wolfram and climb the steps in back to the roof.

From Wicker Park/Bucktown: Take the 50 Damen bus north to Diversey and transfer to the 76 Diversey bus going east or take the Blue Line to Logan Square and xfer to the Diversey 76. Get off the bus at the Brown Line stop, then hoof it up Sheffield and east on Wolfram. Go around back and climb the stairs to the roof.

Hop in your hooptie and cruise to Wolfram and Sheffield. On street (no meters) parking on Sheffield South of Diversey and around Jonquil Park down by Wrightwood or if you ask nicely, I might let you have one of my two parking spots.
