From da GM: Notice the time and date change – we’ll be switching back to Sunday afternoon hashes for the rest of Winter with this date. We’re also starting early at the request of the hares, but since the starting location is right next to where we’ll be handing out beer that morning it shouldn’t be too big of a hassle. This will also be an A-B trail, but the hares promise that your bags will be transported for you.

From Lincoln Park/Lakeview: Hop on the Red Line and ride that sucker to Sox-35th. Exit the station to the North and you’ll be on 33rd. Now hoof it West a couple of blocks over to Princeton. Bar is on the corner.

From Wicker Park/Bucktown: Hop on the Blue Line and ride that baby into the Loop. At Monroe transfer over to the Red Line via the handy rape tunnel the CTA provides for you. Ride the Red Line South to Sox-35th. Exit the station to the North and you’ll be on 33rd. Now hoof it West a couple of blocks over to Princeton. Bar is on the corner.

From da GM: This is it, the moment you’ve all been waiting for. Kegs will be tapped promptly at 12 noon with chalk talk set to take place at 1PM. The ladies have assured me that they’ve planned an immaculately shitty trial with multiple beer stops, a dazzling array of games, & delicious food to stuff your faces with! Be sure to bring some shiggy socks and a dry bag with you – this trail is going to be nasty!

From Lincoln Park/Lakeview: Hop on the Red Line and ride that puppy North to Berwyn. Go downstairs and jump onto the 92 Foster bus. Get good and comfortable. Exit the bus at 4635 W. Foster, cross the street, and walk through the trees into LaBagh Woods. Grove #2 is the Southernmost grove.

From Wicker Park/Bucktown: Hop on the Blue Line and ride that puppy out to Jefferson Park. Transfer over to the 92 Foster bus and ride that puppy East to 4635 W. Foster. Cross the street and walk through the trees into LaBagh Woods. Grove #2 is the Southernmost grove.

We had to move the start time up because we’ve only got the park until sunset, but once the sun goes down, the party will continue at O’Donnell’s (4500 N Elston Ave), just a short walk from the park and another one of our favorite bars here in Chicago.

From da GM: Start your Power of the Pussy Weekend off in style with a visit to one of our favorite Chicago bars, the Hidden Shamrock. The festivities will open at 7PM with beer and pizza and good company, but that’s only the half of it, as we’ll be leaving for trail at the ridiculous hour of 10PM. There will be both a walker and a runners trail provided, but don’t drink too much beforehand because everyone who stays back at the bar will miss out on multiple beer stops, an outdoor circle, and you’ll have to buy your own booze at the Hidden Shamrock while we’re gone. If you’re running late and need to catch up, don’t worry, updates on the pack’s location will be placed on our CH3 twitter feed (@chicagoh3).

Our GM Snatchsquatch at Just Ehhh will be teaming up to lay trail starting at Gambler’s (4908 N. Pulaski) and ending somewhere completely different. What’s that? A woods run AND an A to B run all in one? Say it isn’t so!? Hash cash will once again get your both beer and food and we promise to let you guys go on time to make the evening’s festivities.

Environmentally-Friendly Public Transit 🙂 From Lincoln Park/Lakeview: Take the Red Line North to Lawrence. Head downstairs and hop on the 81 Lawrence bus heading West. Ride that sucker all the way to Pulaski. Resist the temptation to hit up the Admiral Theater (that place is BYOB anyway) and hoof it a block North on Pulaski to Gambler’s. Bar is on the West side of the road. From Wicker Park/Bucktown: Take the Blue Line to Irving Park. Take the exit down to Pulaski and hop on the 53 Pulaski bus heading North. Ride that sucker to Ainslie and you’ll find the bar on the West side of the road.

Driving 🙁 Hop in your hooptie and cruise to Ainslie and Pulaski. Park your car and hope that the B isn’t too far from the bar so that you can walk back to it after trail.
