From da GM: Notice the time and date change – we’ll be switching back to Sunday afternoon hashes for the rest of Winter with this date. We’re also starting early at the request of the hares, but since the starting location is right next to where we’ll be handing out beer that morning it shouldn’t be too big of a hassle. This will also be an A-B trail, but the hares promise that your bags will be transported for you.

From Lincoln Park/Lakeview: Hop on the Red Line and ride that sucker to Sox-35th. Exit the station to the North and you’ll be on 33rd. Now hoof it West a couple of blocks over to Princeton. Bar is on the corner.

From Wicker Park/Bucktown: Hop on the Blue Line and ride that baby into the Loop. At Monroe transfer over to the Red Line via the handy rape tunnel the CTA provides for you. Ride the Red Line South to Sox-35th. Exit the station to the North and you’ll be on 33rd. Now hoof it West a couple of blocks over to Princeton. Bar is on the corner.

Venue: Approximately at Mile Marker 23 – Corner of 33rd & LaSalle St

From da GM: Once again, Chicago hashers will be gathering near Mile Marker 23 (the corner of 33rd and LaSalle) to hand out beer to those crazy enough to run the Chicago Marathon. Since this is a volunteering opportunity, we’re asking everyone to bring booze and dixie cups so that we can better hand out beer to the runners. If you are coming, it is also important to remember that thanks to Chicago’s archaic laws, you cannot buy beer on Sunday until 11AM, so plan ahead and buy a case on Saturday.

If you forget to get booze beforehand, don’t worry – you’re still welcome to come and assist and hang out. The more the merrier. Signs are also strongly encouraged to show support for your fellow racist hashers. It is also strongly encouraged that you bring your hashing clothes, since the hash will be starting just a few blocks away starting at Cork & Kerry at the Park at 1PM.

From Lincoln Park/Lakeview: Get on the Red Line and head towards 95th/Dan Ryan. Exit the train at 35th/Sox Park and take the 33rd St Exit (that’s away from US Cellular Field, you boneheads). Once you’re up to the street, head East on 33rd St. If you can’t find us you’re either blind or stupid.

Don’t even try it. Everything is going to be shut down for the marathon, so even if you’re able to get your car down there you’re probably going to run into a ton of parking problems.

From da GM: Yes it is October, and that means we’ll be switching to Sundays, but given the way that the calendar falls this year that would mean we’d have 13 days between hashes. That’s no fun. So one extra Monday night hash for all the hashers.

From Lincoln Park/Lakeview: Hoof it to 933 W. Wolfram.
From Wicker Park/Bucktown: Hop on the 50 Damen bus up to Diversey. Transfer over to the 76 Diversey bus and ride that sucker over to the Brown Line. Then hoof it North on Sheffield and then East on Wolfram to 933 W. Wolfram.

Driving
Hop in your hooptie and cruise to Wolfram and Sheffield. You’ll need a parking pass, so good luck with that.

From Wicker Park/Bucktown: Hop on the 50 Damen bus and ride that sucker North to Cullom. Hoof it West to Lincoln and then half a block North to the corner of Lincoln and Pensacola.
