Second City HHH Special Specky Memorial Day Hash

Venue: Janina’s Gin Mill & Saloon – 3459 N Milwaukee Ave
Specklebird is haring his occasionally annual birthday/Memorial Day hash this SATURDAY (not the usual Sunday) at 3:00 (not the usual 2:00) at Janina’s, at 3457 N. Milwaukee (not the usual suburban woodsy type location). The hash will be A-B, and we are promised a feast of sandwich fixins and plenty of chips and beer. If you’d like to bring a side dish or dessert that is not composed of chips (well, chocolate chips would be OK), or if you have a special beer that you’d like to have available, feel free to bring something, though it’s not required. Expect croquet and/or bocce after the r*n.
To get there, look at map, find Milwaukee Avenue and trace it until you are looking at the section between Belmont and Addison (should be just a little west of Pulaski). Figure out your preferred route and take it.

Virgin shiggy, $5 pitchers and a lot of fun! This will be an A to B, carting of gear will be provided.
$8 will get you a great trail in the woods of Chicago. YES there are woods to be found in Chicago and the BIG DOGS usually can find them!!
From Metra, Burlington Northern line, Brookfield stop, from I-290 west exit 1st Ave and turn left. Follow 1st ave for a few miles to Ogden Ave.
Turn right onto Ogden and follow to Prairie Ave. Right onto Prairie and follow to the street right before the tracks. Bar will be on corner on the right.
From I-55 south exit 1st Ave north. Follow to Ogden Ave. Left onto Ogden to Prairie, right onto Prairie to street before tracks, bar on corner on the right. “A” bar Irish Times Pub, 8869 Burlington Ave Brookfield, IL. “B” bar is Slager’s on 47th. 9308 47th Brookfield, IL (708) 387-0317
