Kick off the Chicago summer in style with our annual Snatchsquatch Birthday Weekend Memorial Day Hash celebration.  Join us for the whole weekend and get access to three trails over the course of the long weekend, or you can rego for just the main event on Sunday. No matter which option you choose, you’ll get trails and circles complete with food and beverages, as well as two summer-themed giveaways, and all the awesome extra shenanigans that go along with hashing in Chicago.

Here is what we have planned:

Friday, May 24th – Pub Crawl

Our crawl is easily accessible from the Belmont red/purple/brown line station. This is not included in your rego, so pay as you go.

Before: No job? Ain’t got shit to do? Coordinate with your ‘friends.’ There are plenty of options in the area.
7pm: Redmonds (3358 N Sheffield Av)
9pm: Sheffields (3258 N Sheffield Av)
11pm: Trader Todd’s (3216 N Sheffield Av) Sign up for karaoke when you arrive!
After: Big Shitty Tap (1010 W Belmont Av) You’re a pumpkin and should go home.

Saturday, May 25th – Prelube Run #2220

Hare: Snatchsquatch
Location: Double Bubble (6036 N Broadway Av) Map
Hash Cash: Included in your weekend rego. $10 for walk-ups.
Time: 2pm meet, 2:30 on-out

A nice little r#n to carry you over from the Friday pub crawl to the main event on Sunday. The hare will likely omit the “nice” and “little” part, but you’ll enjoy some beer to make up for it.

Sunday, May 26th – Memorial Day Run #2221

Hares: Dr. Cockvorkian & Furry Spice
Location: Edgebrook Woods Forest Preserve (6129 N Central Av) Map
Hash Cash: Included in your weekend rego. $40 for walk-ups.
Time: noon meet, 12:30 on-out

The main event! The RA will guarantee favorable skies! We’ll meet at our rented pavilion in Edgebrook Woods. Work up your thirst by r#nning a shitty trail hared by these two wankers with turkey and eagles options. Beer, grilling, and games to accompany this disaster. Consider bringing a side dish to share with your fellow hashers. In turn, we’ll return you $5 at the main event (sign up on rego). Note: we must GTFO by sundown, so consider Rabbit’s as an on-after.

Monday, May 27th Noon – Hangover Run #2222

Hares: It’s Too Soft & Silent But Deadly
Location: 933 W. Wolfram St. Map
Hash Cash: Included in your weekend rego. $10 for walk-ups.
Time: noon meet, 12:30 on-out

There will be a trail of some variety, followed by more grilling, hopefully green beans, drinking, circle, and general shenanigans likely involving a small pool or block of ice.

Four days is not enough. I need MORE HASHING!

If you have a couple of extra days to spend in Chicago, you can run with these esteemed clubs:

  • Thirstday HHH on Thursday night 5/23 at 7:00 PM.
  • Whiskey Wednesday HHH on Wednesday night 5/22 at 7:00 PM.

What does it cost and how do I register?

Registration is simple:

  1. Go fill out the ONLINE REGISTRATION.
  2. Go to PayPal and send money to the email address you were given upon completion of the registration form.
