Pint 4A Pint 2013

From Chicken/ Chuck Stiffer:

Dear Chicago Hash,

I know it may be something you do not think about but blood donations are down in the area so please consider donating in the next couple of weeks. My school is running a blood drive on Sept. 18 and we would like to see you donate here or any LIFESOURCE blood donation center across the city or suburbs. If You donate please use the CODE: AH85 at the donation center because our school gets credit for your donations which gives us money for students scholarships.

The above link is location of donation centers across the city and suburbs hopefully you can donate in the next couple of weeks and help raise the blood supply in the area.

CHICKEN STIFFER

From Snat ChSquatch:

The Ace Bar (1505 W. Fullerton) is just down the street from the Fullerton LifeSource location. I set NOON for the start time, but you can obviously show up earlier or later as need be, but keep in mind that LifeSource closes at 1:30PM. Click the above link that Chicken provided and get yourself an appointment.

Oh, and Hood Whorenament says we can steal a bunch of Lagunitas if anyone has a backyard/roof/whatever, so we might wind up somewhere else.

Mismanagement Meeting & Wingsday

Venue: O’Malley’s West
Time: 6PM

You know the deal.

O’Malley’s West. After work. Beer. Wings. Trivia. Karaoke. (If we make it that far.)

A brief CH3 mismanagement meeting will take place at 7PM – we’re looking for people to help with planning this year’s Anthrax celebration, so if you have any ideas please come and participate.

Wingsday

Venue: O’Malley’s West
Wed, July 3, 7PM

We hold these truths to be self-evident that all men are created equal – except the British, fuck those guys!

Come join us at O’Malley’s West (2249 N. Lincoln) for cheap beer ($3 pints), cheap wings ($.35 each), trivia (starting after 8PM), and karaoke (starting after trivia). You’ll be able to stay out late for once, since work the next day is canceled (unless your employer is right commie bastard).

Beer in a Box 2013

Beer In a Box
Sunday 4/7 – 9:00 AM
Venue: Buckingham Fountain

From da GM: Once again, Chicago hashers will be gathering at Buckingham Fountain for our Post-Shamrock Shuffle “Beer in a Box” celebration. We start as soon as the runners finish running 8k. Wave 1 starts at 8:30am; wave 2 starts at 9:15am. You could be drinking by 9am but the majority of the group will probably start gathering closer to 9:30-10am. The last few years we’ve had it next to one of those advertising sign towers closest to a beer tent in the general vicinity of Buckingham Fountain. It makes it easy to find us. Be sure to ask people for beer tickets as they approach the finish line.
Environmentally-Friendly Public Transit

From Lincoln Park/Lakeview: Get on the Red Line and head into the Loop. Exit at Harrison and hoof it east over into Grant Park and then back north to Buckingham Fountain.

From Wicker Park/Bucktown: Get on the Blue Line and head into the Loop. Exit at Jackson and hoof it east over into Grant Park and then south to Buckingham Fountain.

Driving Don’t even try it.

Hash Ball 2013

Chicago HHH Hash Ball 2013

Saturday 2/23 – 8:00 PM

Venue: Big Brick’s Pizza – 3832 N. Lincoln Ave

Hash Cash: $30 until 2/17, $35 at the door

From da GM: As another hash year draws to a close it is time to look back and reflect on all of the good times that we had in 2012. Thanks to Little Trojan Annie and Back Door County, we’ve got a kickass drink (beer, wine, and mixed drinks) as well as pizza for three hours starting at 8PM. After that we’ll still have the space to ourselves, so keep drinking. Our theme this year will be “A Night at the Oscars” so come prepared to walk down that red carpet in whatever manner you feel is most fit. We’ll be announcing the winners of the CH3 erections and handing out all of the year-end awards that you’ve come to know and love, so be sure to be there. You can pay either Snatchsquatch, Little Trojan Annie, or Back Door County in person, or pay an extra $5 at the door cause you’re a wanker.

Environmentally-Friendly Public Transit
From Lincoln Park/Lakeview: Take the Brown Line to Irving Park, then hoof it west to the intersection of Damen, Irving Park, and Lincoln. Turn south on Lincoln and when you hit the corner of Lincoln and Berenice you’re there.

From Wicker Park/Bucktown: Take the 50 Damen bus north to Grace. Hoof it north to Berenice and then east over to Lincoln Ave and you’re there!

Driving
Hop in your hooptie and cruise to Berenice and Lincoln – you can either feed the meter or hope to find something on a side street.
