Chicago HHH #2024 – Saturday 3/26 – 2:00 PM

From da GM: It’s our regularly scheduled Pre-Easter Hash. Notice that we’ve moved the hash to Saturday so that you can spend time with your families on Sunday.

From da Hares:
– Bring money/debit card for trail if you want to play a game that has a prize.
– Bring food for potluck
– TRAIL IS A-B. There will be a shag wagon to transport food and your shit to the B. If you have some prep work to do on your food or you’re a control freak, you can cum to the B early and drop your shit off yourself (Hint: the B is Trojan Jew’s B&B&B). Just let LTA know.
– Free street parking at the B. At the A too, if you look hard enough. But we don’t recommend driving if you can help it.
– More than one game on trail. If you’ve never done an Easter trail….good luck.
– Four Score is back as a hare. We’re truly sorry.

From Lincoln Park/Lakeview: Take the Brown Line south to Armitage. Transfer to the 73 Armitage bus going west. Exit the bus at Western and the bar is below the El tracks on the west side of the street. (Approx. 30 min)
From Wicker Park/Bucktown: Take the Blue line going towards O’Hare. Exit the train at Western and the bar is downstairs, under the El, on the west side of the street. (Approx. 5 min)
Driving

Hop in your hooptie and cruise to Western and Homer. Avoid Western and Belmont at all costs, cause they’re removing the overpass.

From Wicker Park/Bucktown: Take the 50 Damen bus south to Augusta, then hoof it west to Leavitt and the bar. (Approx. 10 min)

Hop in your hooptie and cruise to Leavitt and Augusta, marvel at the gentrification.

From Lincoln Park/Lakeview: Hop on the Red Line and take that sucker all the way down to 63rd. Get off the train and transfer to the 63 Bus heading East. Hop off the bus at University and walk South – you’ll cut through a schoolyard as University disappears for a block, but you’ll pick it up again at 65th. Keep going another half block and Casa de Stab ’em will be on your right as you’re heading South. (Approx. 65 min)

From Wicker Park/Bucktown: Take the Blue Line into the Loop. Transfer to the Red Line and take that sucker all the way down to 63rd. Get off the train and transfer to the 63 Bus heading East. Hop off the bus at University and walk South – you’ll cut through a schoolyard as University disappears for a block, but you’ll pick it up again at 65th. Keep going another half block and Casa de Stab ’em will be on your right as you’re heading South. (Approx. 65 min)

Via Magical, Mystical, Metra Train: There is a Metra Electric train that leaves Millennium Station (underground at Michigan & Randolph) a…t 1:00 PM. You need to: (1) Buy a ticket ($2.50) before you board. (2) Tell the conductor you want to get off at 63rd St. otherwise the train may not stop there. (3) Get off at 63rd and use the exit at the south end of the platform (64th St.). (4) Hoof it west over to Woodlawn, then west on 65th to University, and finally south again to the venue.

Driving
Hop in your hooptie and cruise to 65th and University – marvel at how much parking there is. Don’t be a wank, be sure to carpool, and don’t forget to offer your fellow hashers rides back to civilization the North Side.
