From da GM: It’s Halloween, bitches! Dust off those costumes one more time and join the Chicago Hash for our annual Halloween Hash. We’ll have a shitty trail, some prizes for those in costume, and other surprises for those in attendance.

Environmentally-Friendly Public Transit 🙂 From Lincoln Park/Lakeview: Get on the Brown Line and head to Western. Hop off and jump on the Lincoln Ave bus heading North. Exit the bus just a few blocks later at Lincoln & Winnemac. The bar is on the West side of the street.
From Wicker Park/Bucktown: Take the 49 Western Ave bus North to Winnemac – hop off and walk a block West to Lincoln.

Driving 🙁 Hop in your hooptie and cruise to Lincoln and Winnemac, parking shouldn’t be too hard, but don’t park in the lot next to the bar, as you will get towed.

From da Hares: This is A —> B. There will be food and beer. Shag wagon for bags. There is a pool at the end so bring Swimwear. If you drive you will have to get your car after the trail. The B will be posted on the hash line after we start if you wish to make the ON-IN and it is CTA accessible.

From da GM: Labor Day? Already? Where the hell did the Summer go? Oh well, at least we’ve got one more big blow-out party planned for you – why else would you need three hares for a trail? Nevermind that two of them have never set trail before and that they’re being taught by the biggest free-ranging bastard in existence. Nope, this one is going to be a good one.

Environmentally-Friendly Public Transit 🙂 From Lincoln Park/Lakeview: Hop on the Red Line headed towards Howard. Exit the train at the Berwyn stop and head East along Berwyn. If you can’t find the bar, you’re stupid. From Wicker Park/Bucktown: Blue Line to the Loop. Transfer to the Red Line headed towards Howard. Exit the train at the Berwyn stop and head East along Berwyn. If you can’t find the bar, you’re stupid.

Driving 🙁 Hop into your hooptie and cruise to Berwyn and Winthrop. If you can find parking then you’re lucky because this neighborhood is as bad or worse than Lincoln Park for that shit. Also, this is an A —> B, so what the hell you driving for any way, stupid?

CH3 #1719

Chicago Hash Run #1719 – May 2, 2011
Hares: 69-Cent Man & Virgin Banger Venue: The Four Treys Bar – 3333 N. Damen Ave.

Hash Cash: $8 Theme: Polish Constitution Day From the Hares: A keg of Stawski Beer will be provided by the Stanley Stawski Distributing Co. Just remember that this beer has a high alcohol content, so if you guzzle this like Miller Lite or water, you will get drunk. Wear a Polish shirt (provided that it’s not from a Polish beer company, as our sponsor, the Stawski Distributing Co., is brewing a relatively new Polish beer under their own name).

Environmentally-Friendly Public Transit ? From Lincoln Park/Lakeview: Red Line to Belmont, Brown Line to the newly re-opened Addison stop, hoof it two blocks West to Damen and two blocks South to Roscoe. Note the Paulina Brown Line stop just closed so don’t even think about it. From Wicker Park/Bucktown: Blue Line to Addison, Addison #152 Bus East to Damen, hoof it two blocks South on Damen to Roscoe.Driving ? Hop into your hooptie and cruise to Roscoe & Damen. Parking is usually quite findable for a yuppie ‘hood as there’s lotsa single family homes in the area but watch out for new resident permit zones which infest Lakeview like 17-year cicadas did last spring.
