Chicago Hash House Harriers – Our beer stop for the marathon racists

Venue: 113 W. 33rd St. under the Metra viaduct.
What is this?:  We hand out small cups of beer to runners in the Chicago Marathon.
How do I get there?:  Take the CTA Red Line to Sox/35th Station, but use the 33rd St. exit. Our spot is just to the right as you exit the station.
What do I bring?: Bring a case of cheap beer and some small paper cups. Remember, if you wait until Sunday morning to buy beer you can only buy it at the big supermarkets like Jewel.
What do I do afterwards?: Our regular CH3 hash run will begin at 2 o’clock at Armour Square Park, just 2 blocks west of this location.

From the hare: After the hash we will wander over to the Taste of Polonia Festival near the Copernicus Center in Jefferson Park. Entry fee is just $5 if we enter before 5 PM, so let’s try and get started on trail by 2:30.

From the hare: Summer 2018 is rapidly coming to a close so let’s end it with a bang! This is first and foremost an urban rooftop BBQ party, thinly disguised as a hash. There will be trail through Chicago’s historic Green Zone followed by an on-in with more beer than you can shake a stick at the usual epic food spread for just the usual ten bucks hash cash. There may be Malort. There may be drinking games. There may be ice in a kiddie pool in circle.

You might not want to make plans for doing anything other than crashing after this Summer wipeout and good thing most people don’t have to go to work on Sunday. Celebrate outdoors while it’s still Summer!!!
