So, we are going to re-re-open hashing at CH3 on February 28th, maybe with some fanfare?

Exciting News! We will be starting up trails again!
To make it easy on the hare-raiser, and to hopefully wait out this shit weather, our first trail back will be February 28th. If you are interested in haring, please shoot Gay Dancer (Peter Waters) a message.
We will be continuing to follow Chicago guidelines and be erring on the side of caution. Circles will be short and sweet, masks are required, and BYOB.

So, we re-shutdown hashing at CH3 on November 16th. We might reopen again someday.

We’ve had some nice trails and have generally figured out how to hash safely during the pandemic. Your typical hash trail now starts and finishes at the hare’s patio, roof deck, alley or other outdoor area with space for social distancing. We have also successfully used city parks for the start/finish.

To avoid the pack being “a pack”, we stagger our start by 30 seconds or so in order to maintain proper distance from others.  We provide hand sanitizer during circle and require masks when near other people, or when entering the hare’s home to use the facilities (assuming the hare allows this — it’s up to the hare).

We want everyone to feel comfortable at our runs. If you have any suggestions for improving the experience, please get with mismanagement and let us know.

So, we reopened hashing at CH3 on June 7th with great fanfare (okay, medium fanfare!)

Announcing Anthrax: COVID Edition (Dec 19, 2020)

Haha! Just kidding. It’s cancelled.

Notice from the GM:

Anthrax refunds. Two options here that I will let you decide from. Option A: We can refund everyone, which will be on our schedule and may not be done for a while or, option B: if you all are interested, your rego and money can be a down payment for a guaranteed cheaper early rego for the next Anthrax. If you would still need your refund you would need to contact ME with proof of payment. I would like to minimize the amount of time my hash cash has to sort through this.
