Environmentally-Friendly Public Transit
From Lincoln Park/Lakeview: Hop on the Red Line and ride that all the way to Howard. Transfer to the Purple line and take that to Davis. Go south from the station to Davis and then east to Sherman and the bar. (Approx. 45 min)
From Wicker Park/Bucktown: Take the Blue Line into the Loop – transfer to the Red Line at Jackson. Ride the Red Line all the way out to Howard. Transfer to the Purple line and take that to Davis. Go south from the station to Davis and then east to Sherman and the bar. (Approx. 75 min)
Divvy
Park your Divvy at the Davis station at the corner of Benson and Church.
Metra
Take the UP-N train out of Ogilvie at 12:35 and ride that sucker to Evanston/Davis (Clybourn, Ravenswood, and Rogers Park are also options). Go south from the station to Davis and then east to Sherman and the bar. You’ll arrive at 1PM, but at least you’ll have plenty of time to booze.
Driving
Hop in your hooptie and cruise to Sherman and Davis. There’s metered parking, but it isn’t as expensive as it is in the city.
